Sondhi Lashes out at Democrat Party Secretary-General

The People’s Alliance for Democracy core leader, Sondhi Limthongkul, believes his attempted murder case is not likely to be solved and that the mastermind behind the case may not be found. He added that the Democrat Party secretary-general has been keeping in touch with the self-exiled former prime minister.

The People’s Alliance for Democracy core leader, Sondhi Limthongkul, states he does not think his attempted murder case will end with the mastermind’s punishment despite the fact that several arrest warrants have been issued.

He added that he once talked sincerely with Police General Thani Sombunsap after which he has said to Thani that he did not expect success in solving the case. Sondhi revealed that he felt sympathetic towards Thani as he was a good police official.

Sondhi also lashed out at Democrat Party secretary-general and Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban. He explained Suthep, who is in charge of internal security, has ignored the investigation into the attempted murderer.

What’s more, the PAD leader believes that the Deputy Prime Minister is likely to have been in contact with former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra because there has been a lot of assistance provided for Suthep. Sondhi added that the deputy prime minister ignored a pardon petition campaign even though he knew it was against law.

Sondhi added the reason that he has to confront the Democrat Party because the party sees the PAD as a foe. He stressed that some of the Democrats were involved in his attempted murder. He concluded that the party would be ruined because of Suthep.
